Sumatra Lintong
Sumatra Lintong Grade 1 Double Pick is sourced from the Wahana Estate located near the town of Sidikalang along the shores of Lake Toba which was formed from a supervolcano, in the province of North Sumatra on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. The Wahana Estate cultivates 250 hectares of coffee and preserves 100 hectares of natural forest. The estate also has a mill facility, composting factory, free health clinic and farmers’ support center, which offers shade trees, organic fertilizer, coffee seeds, and farm management training for small producers in the region.
We take this coffee to a Viennese roast. The result is a rich cup of coffee with herbaceous notes and cedar undertones.
